Postal food drive to benefit HELP of Beaufort

info@islandpacket.comApril 30, 2013

HELP of Beaufort will be one of the recipients of the Beaufort and Burton post offices' participation in the National Association of Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Residents on the Beaufort and Burton postal routes can leave a bag of nonperishable food by or in their mailboxes May 11. Letter carriers will pick up the bags and take them to the Burton post office.

The Kiwanis Club of Beaufort and HELP volunteers will unload the food and take it to HELP's pantry.
