Bluffton man arrested for indecent exposure over weekend

A Bluffton man who was allegedly exposing himself outside of his home was arrested by Bluffton police Sunday after a short chase, according to the department.

A driver on Lawton Street reported that Joey Winston, 25, was flashing passing motorists on Lawton Street, according to Lt. Joe Babkiewicz.

When police arrived, Winston fled but was quickly apprehended near a wood line by his home, Babkiewicz said.

Winston is being held in the Beaufort County Detention Center on a charge of indecent exposure in lieu of $10,000 bond, according to the jail.
