Stay out of left lane unless passing, turning

info@islandpacket.comApril 29, 2013

This is in response to the lady who is requesting we get off her back bumper while she is driving in the passing lane on U.S. 278. Ma'am, it's called a passing lane for a reason. You could very well be doing the speed limit in the right or middle lanes. Unless you're planning to make a citizen's arrest, please leave the speeding worries to the people being paid to issue citations for said speeding. Please adhere to the following mantra while driving in our area: If I'm in the left lane and not either making a left turn or passing another vehicle, then I'm in the wrong lane.
