Hilton Head wins, will play in USA Rugby national championships

The Hilton Head Rugby Club defeated Charlotte, 19-5, on Saturday in Fort Myers, Fla., to earn a berth in the USA Rugby Club Division III National Championships in May.

Hilton Head will play again at 10 a.m. Sunday in the USA Rugby South regional final against the Montgomery (Ala.) Yellowhammers, to determine seeding for the Sweet 16, which will be held May 18-19 in Virginia Beach, Va.

Salvador da Cunha scored both of Hilton Head's tries in the win over Charlotte, and Neil Turner was 3 of 5 on penalty kicks.
