Learn more about Eliza Lucas Pinckney, indigo production in South Carolina

The Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn will host "Eliza Pinckney's Indigo" at 2 p.m. June 18 and 20. Learn about Eliza Lucas Pinckney's role in bringing indigo to the Carolinas in the 1730s. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with an Eliza re-enactor and ask her questions during the program. Afterward, participants can dye a T-shirt with indigo and take it home.

Cost is $15. Reservations are required.
