Bluffton Self Help shelves restocked

Bluffton Self Help reports that the community responded to its call for food when its shelves ran low earlier this month.

The nonprofit agency that helps people with financial difficulties says its shelves are now "adequately stocked" and will be so until the annual Postal Service Food Drive on May 11, its largest food drive of the year, a news release said.

To participate in the annual drive, place a bag of nonperishable food at your mailbox the morning of May 11, and a postal worker will deliver it to Bluffton Self Help.

Donations generated during the drive should keep the shelves stocked for most of the summer, the release said.
