A school bus was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Keans Neck Road in Seabrook Tuesday morning.

No one was injured in the crash, Sheldon Fire District Chief Buddy Jones said.

Beaufort County School District spokesman Jim Foster said 11 students were on the bus: six from Whale Branch Elementary, three from Whale Branch Middle, and two Head Start students from James J. Davis Early Childhood Center.

School officials from Whale Branch Elementary and Middle observed no injuries to the students, though one parent did take her children out of class to see a doctor, Foster said.

Whale Branch Elementary school officials called parents to notify them of the crash. Middle schoolers were allowed to use a front office phone to contact their parents once they arrived at school, he said.

Jones said the crash occurred at about 8 a.m. near Dan Drive. It took about 45 minutes to an hour to clear the scene.
