'Slow' drivers aren't causing safety issues

info@islandpacket.comApril 22, 2013

I am wondering if all these drivers who are writing to the newspaper complaining about "slow" drivers in the passing lane happen to be the ones who are tailgating me in the passing lane, even when I am going 50 mph in a 45 mph zone. When I get over into the other lane, they zoom around me as if I were going 20 mph.

If the police were looking for speeders out on U.S. 278, they could be pulling over hundreds of people. Drive through the construction zone once, and you will see how fast everyone goes there. So perhaps the "speedy" complainers should slow down and drive a bit more safely. And get off my tail when I am going the speed limit.
