Sunday's crime reports

The following reports were released Saturday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office:



  • Col. Thomas Hayward Drive, Sun City: Several items worth $440 stolen from family during move to California.



  • Bermuda Pointe Drive, Bermuda Pointe: Front gate to complex forced open, metal bracket broken. Damage: $2000.


  • Gannet Street: Apple laptop, backpack worth a total of $800 total stolen from home during house party.

  • Mooring Buoy, Palmetto Dunes: iPad stolen from rental home.

  • South Forest Beach Drive, Coligny Beach Park: Air mattress worth $100 stolen from car after rear window smashed. Damage: $300.

  • Widewater Road, Spanish Wells: $500 Garmin GPS stolen from unlocked car.
