J. Michael Nicastre has won the Art League of Hilton Head's annual Heritage poster competition this year.

Nicastre started in illustration in New York and worked for several publishing companies designing book covers and advertising assignments. He then opened his own advertising and design studio in Connecticut. He recently closed his business and moved to Hilton Head Island, where he has been a member of the Art League of Hilton Head for about five years.

The poster will be available at the art league's gallery in the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, the Art Academy on Cordillo Road, the Pink House Gallery and Harbour Town Crafts. Cost is $20; or $40 signed limited edition. Proceeds benefit the Heritage Classic Foundation and the Art League of Hilton Head.
