Architectural historian to speak about American Revolution at 'Dinner & A Lecture'

The story of colonial South Carolinians who did not support the American Revolution and the description of their exile will be told by architectural historian Colin Brooker at the "Dinner & A Lecture" series at 5:30 p.m. April 29 at the Verdier House, 801 Bay St., Beaufort.

The series is open to foundation members and nonmembers. Admission is $15/$25 for members/member couples and $20/$30 for nonmembers/nonmember couples. Reservations are required.

A three-course dinner at Saltus River Grill is offered at $19 a person for attendees. Call Saltus River Grill at 843-379-3474 to make dining reservations.
