Researcher to speak at Archaeology Society of S.C. meeting on Hilton Head Island

The Archaeology Society of S.C.-Hilton Head Chapter is hosting Karen Smith, director of applied research of the S.C. Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology, who will speak at 1 p.m. April 23 at the Coastal Discovery Museum on Honey Horn. Smith will discuss Woodland-era paddle art relevant to this area. The event is free and open to the public.
