The following reports were released Thursday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office and Beaufort Police Department:

BEAUFORT

CAR BREAK-IN

  • Tuscarora Avenue: Radar detector, case worth $450 stolen from unlocked car

  • FRAUD

  • Pleasant Farm Drive: Fraudulent $800 check-card purchase at Sears.

  • VANDALISM

  • Boundary Street: Car scratched in grocery store parking lot. Damage: $1,200.

  • HILTON HEAD ISLAND

    THEFT

  • Eagle Claw Drive, Hilton Head Plantation: Jewelry, precious coins worth $3,515 stolen.
