Elizabeth Colbert Busch and Mark Sanford

Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch is on the campaign trail today, but Republican rival Mark Sanford is not.

Colbert Busch will tour the Charleston Digital Corridor's business incubator, Flagship2, at 1 p.m. today and meet with its leadership and business owners housed in the incubator, according to her campaign.

Colbert Busch has not commented on the trespassing charge filed by Sanford's ex-wife Jenny Sanford for allegedly breaking the couple's divorce agreement and entering her home without permission in February.

Mark Sanford said Tuesday he was there to watch the Super Bowl with the couple's 14-year-old son.

The former governor has made no known public appearance since releasing yesterday's statement. His campaign has not released any campaign stops so far today.

The two candidates face off in a May 7 special election to represent the 1st Congressional District that includes much of Beaufort County.
