Signed PGA Tour golf balls to be given to trivia-hound fans

The volunteer announcers at the ninth and 18th greens were busy during Wednesday's pro-am getting golf balls signed by PGA Tour players. They give them to fans who correctly answer trivia questions throughout the weekend, said announcer David Leininger.

The contest includes trivia about the tournament. They may ask who was second to Arnold Palmer in the first Heritage. (Former Hilton Head Islander Bert Yancey and Rich Crawford tied for that honor.)

Announcer Charles Perry will be back full-time at the ninth hole for the first time in several years, following his bout with cancer and the death of his wife, Patsy.
