Beaufort man arrested for crack cocaine possession

A 35-year-old Beaufort man was charged with crack cocaine possession after officers found the drug during a search of his home, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Joshua Allen Blomquist was charged with simple possession of crack cocaine and possession of a controlled substance. He was in the Beaufort County Detention Center late Wednesday, with bond set at $10,000.

Deputies found a small, green pill bottle containing the drug in the left side pocket of Blomquist's pants after obtaining a search warrant for his home Monday night.
