Revamped comedy/magic club set to open at Kingfisher

Posted on April 16, 2013

The former Hilton Head Comedy Club is getting a makeover. Veteran comedian/magician Kerry Pollock is taking over the club that's located in the Kingfisher restaurant on Hilton Head Island. He's renaming it Hilton Head Comedy & Magic Club. Look for it to open May 7.

I spoke to Pollock last week. He said the emphasis will be on family-friendly comedy with shows six nights a week in the summer. Pollock has performed nationwide and also has built props for some top acts, like Penn & Teller. So, he's planning on using his connections to draw in some pretty big names, such as Harry Anderson and the Amazing Johnathan

Stayed tuned for more details. We'll be running a story in the next few weeks.
