The Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival and Concours d'Elegance announced Tuesday that Porsche will be its Honored Marque in 2013.

More than 62 years of Porsche history will be celebrated at the festival, held October 25 through November 3. The German automaker's contributions to the industry will honored at both festival venues: on Hutchinson Island's The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa during the Savannah Speed Classic and at the Port Royal Golf Club on Hilton Head Island during the Concours d'Elegance, Motoring Midway and Car Club Jamboree.

The selection also coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 this year, a news release said. Michael Bartsche, Porsche Cars North American executive vice president and chief operation officer, will serve as a guest judge.

Festival tickets will be on sale online this spring at hhimotoringfestival.com/tickets.html.
