2 wrecks on Hilton Head; at least 2 injured

Hilton Head Island Fire & Rescue Division responded to a wreck at about 4:15 p.m., which involved two vehicles on Beach City Road near the Hilton Head library. Two people were transported to the Hilton Head Hospital. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

The Hilton Head Island Fire & Rescue Division is reporting two automobile accidents this afternoon on the island.

No serious injuries were reported in either, according to Capt. Toby McSwain of the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the first accident at about 4:15 p.m., which involved two vehicles on Beach City Road near the Hilton Head library, according to Battalion Chief Mick Mayers. Two people were transported to the Hilton Head Hospital. The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

The Town of Hilton Head Island Fire & Rescue Division responded to a second wreck at the intersection of William Hilton Parkway and Arrow Road at about 4:45 p.m. Three cars were involved, according to Mayers. Details of that accident were not immediately available.
