Obama's contradictions continue to pile up

info@islandpacket.comApril 11, 2013

Will we ever be able to believe something President Barack Obama says?

The president is at it again. You remember how he and his backers squealed about all those big no-bid contracts that were awarded to Halliburton, Blackwater, etc.?

Now The Washington Post (hardly right-wing zealots) reports, and I quote, "President Obama in 2009 told federal agencies that no-bid contracts were 'wasteful' and 'inefficient.' Four years later, his administration spent more money on non-competitive contracts than ever before. Federal agencies awarded $115.2 billion in non-bid contracts in fiscal 21012, an $8.9 (billion) increase from the $105.8 billion from 2009, according to government data. The jump unfolded even as total contract spending decreased by 5 percent. Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Raytheon were top recipients."

Someone someday will write a book listing all the contradictions we have been subjected to between what he says and what he does.

How much more of this must we put up with? Why can't we hear Donald Trump or someone sane utter his famous words, "You're fired"? Obama should go back to Chicago and organize his community to take away those guns the gangs have illegally obtained.

Please, I don't want any more debt passed on to my grandchildren.
