THEFT

  • Big Road: Gun worth $350 stolen from vehicle.

  • Laurel Bay Road, Coastal Auto Salvage: Financial transaction card stolen; $753 charged to it.

  • BLUFFTON

    CAR BREAK-IN

  • Fording Island Road, Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge: Clothes, cash, other items worth $350 stolen. Window shattered. Damage: $150.

  • HILTON HEAD ISLAND

    BURGLARY

  • Port Tack, Palmetto Dunes: Jewelry worth $40,000 stolen. UPDATED, 12 p.m. Thursday: The jewelry was located; the owners had misplaced it.

  • THEFT

  • Shelly Court, Palmetto Dunes: Camera worth $1,000 stolen.

  • Greens Road, Boyer Construction: Metals worth $500 stolen.

  • Waterside Drive, Beachwalk Hotel: Metals from air conditioning units, vending and ice machines worth $4,500 stolen.

  • PORT ROYAL

    THEFT

  • Parris Island Gateway, McDonald's: HTC cellphone worth $400 stolen; had been left charging while customer ordered food.
