Learn about animals of the Lowcountry

The Coastal Discovery Museum will present Animals of the Lowcountry every Wednesday starting June 19 and ending Aug. 14.

Participants will learn about animals like the barred owl, corn snake, alligator, opossum, flying squirrel and armadillo.

The programs, at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., will be at the museum at Honey Horn on Hilton Head Island.

Cost is $12 for adults and $7 for children, with advance reservations required by calling 843-689-6767, extension 223, or online at www.coastaldiscovery.org.
