League to discuss state ethics reform

The League of Women Voters of Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Area will discuss the latest efforts by lawmakers in Columbia to pass a major ethics reforms bill at 10 a.m. today.

JoAnne Day, vice president of the League of Women Voters of South Carolina, and Lynn Teague, director of advocacy, will provide an update and answer questions.

The league meets in the Lowcountry Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall at 10 Simmonsville Road in Bluffton.

The event is free and open to the public.
