Beaufort Memorial Hospital book fair to benefit reading program

Beaufort Memorial Hospital will hold the Books Are Fun Book Fair next month.

The book fair will be in the hospital's cafeteria from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 9 and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 10. It will feature more than 250 titles, as well as stationery, scrap-booking supplies, music collections and learning products, according to a news release.

The sale benefits Born To Read, a local nonprofit organization that promotes early literacy.
