Road rage brings out gun in Beaufort

A man pulled out a gun after cutting off another driver, nearly causing a wreck Thursday on Boundary Street, according to the Beaufort Police Department.

A dark blue or purple Chevy Impala or Nissan Maxima pulled out in front of the victim, causing the victim to swerve, according to police.

The suspect then pulled up alongside the victim, and words were exchanged. The suspect pointed the gun at the victim, according to police.

The unidentified suspect was described as a male wearing a red polo shirt, glasses and a red and blue hat.
