Two Georgia natives have committed to the RBC Heritage Presented By Boeing.

Brian Harman and Harris English will be playing in the 45th annual event, to be held April 15-21 over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island.

Savannah, Ga., native Harman caught the golf world's attention in 2012 during the second round of The Honda Classic when he shattered the course record with a 61. He finished tied for 12th.

The University of Georgia graduate received his first Heritage exemption in 2004 and received another in 2006 after winning the 2005 Players Amateur. In 2010, he made his first PGA Tour start as a professional, opening with a 68 at the Wyndham Championship, and earned the first top 10 of his career with a tie for fifth at last year's Barclays. He will be making his fourth start at the RBC Heritage.

English competed at Harbour Town for the first time last year and finished tied for eighth. He followed it up with two more top 10s during his rookie season.

The Valdosta, Ga., native graduated from the University of Georgia in 2011 and was a member of that year's Walker Cup Team. He has already carded two top 10 finishes this year on the PGA Tour.

The RBC Heritage is the only PGA Tour event in South Carolina and has been played at the Harbour Town Golf Links since 1969.

The Heritage Classic Foundation, the general tournament sponsor, distributes the proceeds from the tournament to hundreds of nonprofit organizations. Since it was founded in 1987, the foundation has donated more than $23.5 million to people in need.

Tickets: Daily tickets and weeklong badges for this year's tournament are now on sale online at www.rbcheritage.com or by calling the tournament office at 843-671-2448.
