A 35-year-old Bluffton woman who crashed her car into the Stacks Pancakes restaurant on Hilton Head Island on Wednesday was charged Thursday with driving under the influence, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The restaurant was back in business Thursday despite the damage. Owner Debbie Harvey said a portion of the building has been closed off.

The driver's insurance company is expected to pay for repairs, which could be upward of $20,000, Harvey said.
