Hilton Head Island Heritage 5K run set for Saturday

It's back.

After a year off, the Hilton Head Island Heritage 5K run returns Saturday.

The chip-timed road race, which benefits the Heritage Classic Foundation, starts at 8 a.m. from Hilton Head Island High School.

The cost is $30 for adults and $25 for runners 18 and younger. Awards will be presented to the male and female overall winners, as well as winners of age divisions. The top three male and females will receive an AnyDay Pass to the RBC Heritage.

The best plaid running outfit will receive a $50 gift card to On On Tri.


8 a.m. Saturday, Hilton Head Island High School

Cost: Adults $30; 18 and younger $25

Registration: Online at or 6:45-7:30 a.m. Saturday at race site

Parking: Hilton Head Island High main lot

Age divisions: 14-under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70, 70-over
