After another week of praise from the "American Idol" judges, Candice Glover is safe.

The St. Helena Island native sang Marvin Gaye's "Heard It Through the Grapevine," on Wednesday as part of the show's Motown theme. During the results show on Thursday, she found out she will perform again next week in the Top 7.

Eighteen-year-old Chicago native Devin Velez was eliminated Thursday night.

Glover will perform again next Wednesday on Fox from 8 to 10 p.m.
