Firefighters with the Bluffton Township Fire District battled a blaze late into the night Thursday at a Bluffton Park home that spread to a nearby garage and two sheds.

Four engine companies were dispatched at 8:30 p.m. to 16 Pin Oak Street off of May River Road to fight the structure fires. Hours later, they were still working to get the blaze under control.

People were inside the home when the fire started but made it out safely and were not injured, according to district spokesman Randy Hunter.
