4 arrested in Port Royal for stealing from homes

Four people have been charged with stealing about $5,000 in goods from homes at Kent's Court Mobile Home Park, according to the Port Royal Police Department.

Brandon Parker, 27; Elijah Clark, 23; a 14-year-old; and a 15-year-old have each been charged with two counts of first-degree burglary.

Parker also is charged with three counts of third-degree assault and battery, one count of first-degree criminal domestic violence and one count of petit larceny for unrelated crimes.

Clark's bond is set at $100,000, and Parker's at $117,166.50, according to the Beaufort County Detention Center log. The juveniles are being dealt with in Family Court, according to police.

The four are accused of entering two mobile homes on West Paris Avenue on March 12 and stealing $4,990 worth of electronics, shoes, clothing and cash.

An investigation led to the recovery of several of the stolen items, police said.
