Former Gov. Mark Sanford was endorsed Monday by Buck Limehouse, the S.C. transportation secretary while Sanford was governor.

Sanford faces Curtis Bostic, a former Charleston County Council member, in an April 2 runoff for the Republican primary in the 1st Congressional District.

Limehouse's son, Rep. Chip Limehouse, R-Charleston, who lost to Sanford in last week's GOP primary, has not endorsed a runoff candidate.

Sanford was also endorsed Monday by Ray Nash, a former Dorchester County sheriff who also failed to advance in the primary.
