Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head thankful for success of Pro-Am Classic fundraiser

info@islandpacket.comMarch 22, 2013

Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island would like to thank our corporate sponsors, hole sponsors and the more than 150 amateurs and pros who hit the beautiful greens at Belfair Golf Club in support of the 19th annual VIM Pro-Am Classic.

Serving as one of the clinic's largest annual fundraisers, the success of the tournament hinges largely on the generosity of our wonderful corporate sponsors, many of whom have partnered with Volunteers in Medicine since its inception. Corporate sponsors of the 2013 VIM Clinic Classic include Boys, Arnold & Company; CareCore National; The Cypress of Hilton Head Island; Fidelity Investments; Fraser Construction; The Greenery; Hilton Head Cadillac; Ocean Woods Landscaping; Palmetto Electric Cooperative; The Richardson Group; South Carolina Band & Trust; and Stevens Appliance Truck Company.

We are also grateful for the generosity of our 26 hole sponsors. Please visit our website, www.vimclinic.org, for a complete listing of the 2013 hole sponsors.

The golfers enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day of golf in a two best balls, shamble format, all in support of a good cause. The event culminated with an awards celebration in the clubhouse, where golfers and their guests shared in good fellowship.

Again, on behalf of everyone at Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island and the patients we serve each year, we thank all of our supporters who joined in our tradition of golfing and giving this year. Your generous support enables Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island to continue in its 20th year of healing the underserved in this wonderful community.
