The judges raved, America voted, and Candice Glover is safe.

On Thursday's "American Idol" results show, the St. Helena Island native learned she has another major "Idol" player in her corner.

Jimmy Iovine, the legendary music producer and the show's mentor, called Glover's performance of the Beatles' "Come Together," on Wednesday "by far the best of the night."

"If there ever was a natural on American Idol, Candice is a natural," Iovine said.

This week, Palmersville, Tenn., native Paul Jolley was eliminated.

Glover and the rest of the Top 8 will perform again Wednesday on Fox from 8-10 p.m.
