The University of South Carolina Beaufort will celebrate National Foreign Language Week with games, food, movies, poetry and a formal ceremony to induct 30 students into the university's chapter of Alpha Mu Gamma, the national collegiate foreign language honor society.
The weeklong series of events is hosted by Gamma Beta Phi, the university's official scholarship society, and the Spanish Club at USCB.
While Foreign Language Week is officially designated as March 4-10, USCB elected to schedule its observance during the week of March 18 when students return to class from Spring Break.
