SC 1st Congressional District candidates release election-night plans

Several candidates in today's 1st Congressional District primaries have released times and locations for election-night parties. The public is invited to attend events for:

Curtis Bostic: 7 p.m. at Beaufort Town Center, 2121 Boundary St., Suite 202, in Beaufort.

Elizabeth Colbert Busch: About 8:30 p.m. Busch addresses supporters at Mex 1 Coastal Cantina, 817 St. Andrews Blvd., in West Ashley.

Sen. Larry Grooms, R-Berkeley: 7 p.m. at Bighorn's Sports Grill, 7832 Rivers Ave., in North Charleston.

Jonathan Hoffman: 7 p.m. at Blind Tiger Pub on Broad St. in Charleston.

John Kuhn: 7 p.m., at the Brown Dog Deli, 40 Broad St., in Charleston.

State Rep. Peter McCoy, R-Charleston: 7 p.m. at Smokey Oak Taproom, 1234 Camp Road, in Charleston.

State Rep. Andy Patrick, R-Hilton Head Island: 7 p.m. at the Old Town Dispensary, 15 Captains Cove, in Bluffton.

Mark Sanford: 7 p.m. at Molly Darcy's Irish Grill and Pub, 235 E. Bay St., in Charleston.

Teddy Turner: 5:30 p.m. at O'Brion's, 361 N. Shelmore Blvd. in Mount Pleasant,

GROOMS ENDORSED

In a Facebook post Monday, TheTeaParty.net announced its endorsement of Sen. Larry Grooms, R-Berkeley, for his congressional run.

MOFFLY GETS SUPPORT

The Rev. Chris Collins on Monday endorsed Elizabeth Moffly, a fellow Charleston County school board member, in her bid for the 1st Congressional District seat.
