The Beaufort History Museum will offer a viewing Wednesday of "Sea Island Secrets," a documentary about the Sea Islands and their history.
Outdoorsman Gibbes McDowell and archeologist Chester DePratter, who are featured in the film, and producer Mike Hudson will be at a reception before the showing and at a question-and-answer session afterward.
The reception will begin at 6 p.m.; the film starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for museum members and $15 for nonmembers.
The museum is in Beaufort City Hall at 1911 Boundary St.
