Beaufort County Disabilities and Special Needs is accepting applications for Camp Treasure Chest, a summer camp for children and young adults with special needs.
Camp Treasure Chest gives young people a chance to experience music therapy, safety awareness, arts and crafts, bowling, swimming and other activities. Each session costs $50 per person.
Session 1 is for children aged 6 to 12. It runs from June 17 to July 5. Session 2 is for ages 13 to 21, from July 8 to 26.
Applicants are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and applicants must meet eligibility requirements. Those guidelines can be found at www.ddsn.sc.gov/Pages/default.aspx.
