Family Promise of Beaufort County thanks Wexford Plantation Charitable Foundation

letters@islandpacket.comMarch 15, 2013

Family Promise of Beaufort County would like to thank the Wexford Plantation Charitable Foundation for its generous donation to our capital campaign. We are honored to be one of the inaugural grant recipients.

This grant will purchase and furnish a room as well as provide two washer/dryer components for our new day center. The day center is where the families spend their day looking for employment and housing, and doing normal activities like laundry, working on the computer, etc.

Family Promise is a donor- and volunteer-driven nonprofit organization whose purpose is to provide shelter to homeless children and their families while equipping them with the skills and resources to return to stable housing. Our mission is made possible by charitable grants and donations.
