Hilton Head Island residents Amanda Schwarz, Roger Daly, Matthew Vaveris and Jordan Leach graduated from The College of Charleston in December. Vaveris graduated cum laude. Bluffton residents Caitlin Fogarty, Matthew Gay, Adrianna Jesuino and Emma Maines; and Hilton Head Island residents Douglas Jansen, Adrian Austin, Brooke Bishop, Madison Edwards, Caitlin Jilly, Shannon Jilly, Hannah Shepard, Amanda Slechta and Nina Zorch were named to the Highly Distinguished Honors list at The College of Charleston for the fall 2012 semester. Highly Distinguished Honors are awarded to students enrolled in at least 14 credit hours who have maintained a grade point ratio between 3.8 and 4.0. Bluffton residents Elisa Glover, Alexandra Jones and Andrew Waymont; Hilton Head Island residents Blake Bush, Olivia Cifaldi, Laura Farris, Hillary Gleason, Andrew Halley, Leanna Lovely and Amanda McElynn; and Okatie resident Cynthia McMillan were named to the Distinguished Honors list at The College of Charlestonfor the fall 2012 semester. Distinguished Honors are awarded to students enrolled in at least 14 credit hours who have maintained a grade point ratio between 3.60 and 3.79.
