Has anyone considered what effect the additional lanes funneling into our two-lane bridges will have on summer Saturday traffic? We are so concerned about promoting tourism, think of the effect that the traffic delays and congestion will have. A visitor stuck in a traffic mess will think twice about visiting Hilton Head Island again.

I think we are putting the cart before the horse in planning. The bridges and road from Moss Creek to the Cross Island Parkway should be widened to three lanes to accept the additional traffic the flyover will provide. Where are the plans and the funding to do this?
