Once again, Candice Glover brought the judges and the audience to their feet.

The St. Helena Island native performed Ben E. King's "I (Who Have Nothing)" on Wednesday night during her first performance competing as an "American Idol" top 10 finalist.

This week's theme was "Music of American Idols." Contestants chose a song a previous winner either sang on the show or released afterward. Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks sang the King classic in the Top 11 and again in the Top 3 that season.

After Glover sang, the judges again lavished praise on the 23 year old.

"Just know that if we had more time, we'd still be standing and clapping right now," judge Keith Urban said. "I love you so much. There's so many things I love about you, I'd never have enough time."

"It would be in everybody's best interest to never ever perform that song ever again," judge Nicki Minaj said. "They should ban that song -- like you shouldn't be able to ever perform that on Idol ever again -- because you just destroyed and annihilated it. It was just ill."

"You really worked that song out," judge Randy Jackson said. "I'm telling you, this was one of the greatest performances on this show, season 12 of 'Idol.' That song had everything, and it was perfect."

"I'm transfixed watching you because a singer of your caliber can do just about anything," judge Mariah Carey said. "It's in my heart after you do these performances."

While Carey was the only judge who didn't stand after Glover performed, it wasn't because she was unimpressed.

"The only reason I didn't stand up is because my skirt is too tight," Carey said. "You deserve a standing ovation always."

Glover's parents, John and Carole, were in the audience along with Lindsey Middleton, Glover's cousin and best friend.

Glover's parents had never flown before flying to Hollywood to see their daughter perform Wednesday night. John Glover was a bit uneasy about the flight. But host Ryan Seacrest said, "At (your) size, the plane should be afraid of you."

Glover will find out tonight if she advances to the Top 9 during the results show that airs from 8 to 9 p.m.
