Nash wins Bluffton Tea Party straw poll

Candidate Ray Nash, a former Dorchester County sheriff, won a Bluffton Tea Party straw poll Monday for 1st Congressional District candidates.

The vote breakdown was Nash, 58 of 106 votes cast; former Sen. John Kuhn, 19; Sen. Larry Grooms, 11; Rep. Andy Patrick, 9; former Gov. Mark Sanford, four votes; Curtis Bostic, two votes; and Teddy Turner, one vote.
