A young girl was threatened while walking to a school bus stop in Beaufort on March 5, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report.
The incident occurred about 7:15 a.m. on Hilanda Drive, according to the report.
The girl said she was walking to the bus stop when a car slowed near her. The driver said, "You look good today," according to the incident report. The man then said, "I have a gun," and reached toward the glove box.
The girl told the man, "My dad is a cop and I am going to tell him," and started walking up the driveway of the nearest home, according to the report. The man drove away.
The only description of the vehicle was an older-model white car. The driver was described as a black man in his 20s wearing a black jacket and green and red hat, according to the report.
