Deadlines approaching to vote absentee in March 19 congressional primary

Qualified voters may vote absentee or by mail in the upcoming 1st Congressional District primary.

Here's how:

  • Visit your county voter registration office , complete an application, and cast your ballot. You may vote absentee in person up until 5 p.m. Monday, March 18.
  • To vote by mail, get an absentee application online at scVOTES.org or request one from your county voter registration office by phone, mail, email, or fax. Complete and sign the application and return it to your county voter registration office no later than 5 p.m. on Friday. You can return the application by mail, fax, or email. You will be mailed an absentee ballot. Return it to your county voter registration office no later than 7 p.m., March 19. You may return the ballot personally or by mail.
