Teddy Turner

Teddy Turner is pushing back against two rivals in the 1st Congressional District race -- former state Sen. John Kuhn and state Rep. Chip Limehouse -- for making statements he says are inaccurate.

"The Kuhn and Limehouse campaigns' attack ads targeting me are full of lies and distortions," Turner said in a statement Monday.

Turner, an economics teacher at a Charleston school and son of media mogul Ted Turner, said the mailings and TV ads mischaracterize his business career and his philanthropic work.
