"Shop for Good; Get Outside!" was a truly successful and important collaboration during the winter holidays.

On behalf of the volunteers, staff and the entire Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island board of directors, we thank Outside Hilton Head and its president, Mike Overton, for the opportunity to team up for this unique fundraising -- and friend-raising -- event. Special thanks to all of the Outside staff and Growlers Craft Beers and Wine & Spirits at Shelter Cove Plaza for their cooperation, enthusiasm, expertise and support. It was a pleasure and privilege to work with them and to see the wonderful turn out from VIM supporters and friends in the community.

Outside Hilton Head's generosity will make a difference in the lives of some of our medically underserved neighbors. Its efforts stand as a prime example of all the good we can accomplish together. Many of the patients we serve work at our local businesses. VIM is grateful to the business community and leaders who see the value in partnering with businesses, the public and Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island to create a healthier community.
