Twelve men's and six women's golf teams will converge on Dataw Island on Monday and Tuesday for the TaylorMade-adidas Intercollegiate golf tournament, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.

The men will play 36 holes Monday and 18 on Tuesday, while the women will play 18 each day. The teams will play both the Cotton Dike and Morgan River courses.

The public is invited to watch the tournament free of charge.

"This is a great chance for Beaufort residents to see some outstanding college golf," Dataw Island Club director of golf Dave Britton said. "We invite everyone to come out and appreciate some great golf play."

Play starts at 8:30 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Women's teams: Ohio Wesleyan, Washington and Lee, Wake Tech, Nazareth, Savannah State, Faukner.
