Variance should be made for farmers market

Published: March 7, 2013

The farmers market at Honey Horn has been a wonderful thing, with several dozen vendors serving hundreds of happy patrons seasonally one day a week.

Now it is gone in part because our town government would not allow needed signage because the market was a for-profit business. A sign code variance for such a unique amenity could easily be justified and would have been a popular action.
