Obama campaigning against GOP House

Published: March 7, 2013

The intentions of President Barack Obama should now be clear to everyone. He told us in 2004 and again in 2008, he wanted to transform America.

Unfortunately, until recently, we did not fully comprehend what he had in mind. Our Founding Fathers envisioned a country where power came from God, then to the people and eventually to government. Our Constitution is based on this concept of power to the people.

Obama disagrees with this. He believes that government, not the people, should hold this power, and he has spent the past four-plus years proving it with his many government-mandated initiatives. Our Constitution is merely an impediment to be changed -- even, if necessary, by executive orders.

Obama has shown his disdain for the private sector for anything other than providing income from taxes to pay for more government programs that redistribute the wealth of those who create, invent, distribute and provide America with the wealth we now hold.

The only impediment that is preventing Obama from completing his task is the U.S. House of Representatives. As long as it is in conservative hands, he will be unable complete his task.

His continuous campaign mode is meant to keep America at a crisis level so that Republicans can be blamed, all in the hope that voters in 2014 will put the House in Democrats' hands. If Obama can do that, then he, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid can finish what they started. Is that the America you want? We certainly hope not.
